Geen uitsupporters welkom bij duel in Rome tegen Lazio
Feyenoord reist voor het uitduel tegen Lazio wederom naar Italië af zonder uitsupporters. Dat is maandag besloten na gesprekken tussen de Italianen, de Rotterdamse voetbaleenheid, de veiligheidscoördinatie van Feyenoord en een gegadigde van voetbalzaken.
Het Algemeen Dagblad maakt daar maandagavond melding van. Een seizoen eerder waren supporters van Feyenoord ook al tweemaal niet welkom in Rome. Of Lazio zelf wél uitsupporters naar Rotterdam meeneemt, is nog niet besloten.
Woensdag 25 oktober staat het eerste groepsfaseduel tegen Lazio op het programma. Die dag speelt Feyenoord thuis om 18:45. Twee weken later, op dinsdag 7 november, staat het bewuste uitduel op de planning. Beide staan achtereenvolgens op de speelkalender van de UEFA Champions League ingepland.
De Italiaanse autoriteiten zitten niet op Feyenoord-supporters te wachten sinds enige ongeregeldheden bij het Europese duel tussen Feyenoord en AS Roma in 2015. Destijds vonden er wat schermutselingen plaats in de Romeinse binnenstad.
